The Waverley Singers form an established, friendly, and enterprising choir of over a hundred people, based in Farnham, Surrey, England. We perform concerts locally, and occasionally undertake foreign tours.
Our conductor is a professional musician of wide international experience, and we are often joined by distinguished soloists and other musicians. We have a close association with the Tilford Bach Orchestra, a professional group of high standing.
The choir is affiliated to the National Federation of Music Societies (Making Music), which represents and supports amateur choirs, orchestras and music promoters throughout the United Kingdom, and also to South East Arts.

The Waverley Singers perform choral music ranging from Renaissance to contemporary, from many countries and in many languages. We sing with widely differing styles of accompaniment (see the Archives page of this website for details).

The Waverley Singers are always keen to recruit new members, who will be given a very warm welcome.

From time to time we hold open rehearsals so that prospective members can come along and see how we work. These open rehearsals will be announced on the Rehearsals page of this website.
There is an audition for new members, but don't be put off: it's just to maintain a reasonable standard, and it doesn't involve sight-reading.
Patrons are much valued supporters of the choir. For a minimum donation of £30 a year patrons receive advanced notice of concerts along with priority booking forms. They are entitled to reserve seats for up to 4 people in the position of their choice. They are also invited to the choir’s social and other events during the year. Donors of £50 or more receive further benefits.
